I loved that he came back to clear the air when things were said in anger. I loved that he took the risks because he saw she needed that.

He feels something more with Andrea and decides he wants to explore it. He's this great guy who has been happy with just hook-ups. I'm a very character driven reader and they usually make or break the book for me. Whenever an author can make the characters so real to me that they make me hurt this bad, then I'm gonna love the book. But while they need help, a lot of things have to come from them. Mostly I was crying for Tanner because I know what it feels like to watch someone you love deeply go through depression. I held myself tight trying to deal with the pain that Andrea was facing. So while my plane was 8 hours delayed, I read this book in a hot and smelly airport. I sometimes avoid books that I know have things in them that hit too close to home but I could never skip one of Jennifer's books. It was inevitable that she would hit upon some issues that were too real for me. I think she does that by giving them real problems and complex situations to grow through. Something that I love about Jennifer, is her ability to create full and real characters. So you won't be surprised that I loved this book too. I have a couple to finish this summer but it will happen. I read my first book by her in 2011 and have read almost every one she has published. Can their friendship survive the attraction? Better yet, can they survive at all? Because as the snow falls, someone is stalking them, and this ski trip may be a life-changer in more ways than one.Anyone who knows me even a little, knows that this author is my favorite.

After all, Kyler will always be the poor boy from the wrong side of tracks, and Syd will always be the one girl he can never have.īut when they're stranded together at a posh ski resort due to a massive Nor'easter, there's nothing stopping their red-hot feelings for each other from coming to the surface. But the feelings he has for her, he's always hidden away or focused on any other female. To him, she's perfect and she's everything. Kyler has always put Syd on a pedestal that was too high for him to reach. He's never stayed with a girl longer than a few nights, and with it being their last year in college, Syd doesn't want to risk their friendship by declaring her love. The big problem with that? Kyler puts the 'man' in man-whore.

Somewhere over the years, she fell for him and fell hard. They'd been best friends ever since he pushed her down on the playground and she made him eat a mud pie. For twenty-one-year-old Sydney, being in love with Kyler isn't anything new.
